Web Designer

Summary:

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to join our dynamic and international team. This is a great opportunity to craft engaging and user-friendly web designs for new and growing brands around the world. Our design work is based on design thinking and it covers a broad spectrum of design: from logo and visual identity design to presentation design, and from print to digital/web design. The ideal Web Designer we need will be responsible for creative output, ideation and execution of design solutions

We are launching our new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where you will be working closely with a global team of graphic-, web- designers, video editor, social media manager and creative directors. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a cross functional team and contribute to the creative process to create compelling designs.
• Maintain and update content for various websites.
• Work directly with visual designer and creative director in the design and development of websites (including the definition of user profiles and user journeys).
• Update and maintain Hubspot CRM software
• Maintain and develop web apps.
• Convey concepts through wireframes, flows, storyboards, and mockups.
• Design and implement digital newsletters
• Translate brand guidelines into effective design works
• Help with visual research and ensure that our creative remains leading edge
• Provide ideas on new tools to create better work and work more efficiently.

The successful applicant has:

• Good proficiency in English (spoken and written) is a  must
• Has an amazing online portfolio that showcases your excellent typography, illustrative skills and design problem solving abilities
• Bachelor’s in graphic design or a related field, or significantly equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years work experience as a web designer. Working experience in Adobe XD is a huge plus!
• Experience in UX/UI design with extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS (sass), PHP & Javascript
• A well-rounded expert working with WordPress with the ability to debug, troubleshoot & fix.
• Familiarity and understanding of architecture for web and mobile experiences with excellent knowledge of design principles
• A keen understanding of prototyping and the ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback.
• An aim for creating the best mobile experience for websites.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude and a supportive team member with leadership qualities
• A keen learner with an open mind for new challenges. You are willing to bring new ideas to the table and take ownership to drive these ideas.
